Thanks for stopping by to see my lovely purrs. I run a small cattery in the tranquil village of Henley-on-Klip, 40km’s south of Johannesburg. I love cats of all colours and creeds but I have a special soft spot for the nature of the Siamese and Orientals that rule our household. They are good enough to let our Moggy boys share their space but draw the line at letting the dogs in the house. Dogs are inferior beings and will be reminded of this fact at any given time.
We are the very proud owners of FIFe Champion Okonor Tejfel, our exquisite stud from Budapest. We acquired him as an adult, so he has achieved great show success in Europe and he also has his babies in some of the world’s finest catteries. We are forever in awe of László Nèmeth’s cats and forever indebted to him for this boy.
We feel very strongly against cats in cages, and for this reason our girls are free to roam the house, and our stud spends most of his time indoors too but Tejfel does have his own room, where he can spend some "private time" with his lovely girls. We love and honour our cats, to the extent that our cattery is named after two girls that stole our hearts who sadly passed the Rainbow Bridge too early. Minki and Lucy Liu, you were two beautiful girls who loved us with all your hearts and we will forever miss you (yes, we even miss Lucy Liu opening the kitchen cupboards and stealing 2 Minute Noodles!!!).
Our vision as breeders is to:
· Produce quality, healthy purebred Siamese and Orientals
· Breed Siamese and Orientals whose stunning features are only surpassed by their beautiful temperaments
· Show our cats to ensure that we are breeding according to the SACC (Southern Africa Cat Council) standard of points
· Further enhance the aesthetics and health of the Siamese and Oriental breed in South Africa
· Assist in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of Siamese and Orientals in the region
· Ensure the happiness of every one of our kittens by finding them loving, responsible forever homes
We are registered with both CFSA and SACC.
